Special interest groups (SIGs) are designed to make it easy for registered members to connect & engage with peers in conversations around a common topic of interest in a small group setting.
While some SIGs continue to operate for a longer period of time, some of the SIGs will only operate for a specific duration (like with conferences, beta programs etc), after which the users may only have limited access to the group or it may be decommissioned/archived. If you cannot access your SIG, the above said could be the reasons. Please contact the site admin if you have any accessibility issues with your SIGs.
How to Become a Member
To become a member of a SIG, users should first be registered on the Fuse community. Further, group membership depends on the group types as defined below:
- Invitation Only SIGs- Membership is initiated by a community admin. If you want to become a member of an invitation only group based on the defined criteria, please reach out to the community or site admin.
- Closed SIGs - Users can auto join to become a member and start to participate and/or view content. Is you are having issues with accessing the closed groups, please reach out to a community or site admin.
