    Is the Fortiweb able to throttle API requests? Using APIM in Azure you can restrict the amount of API request hitting each application, is this something that can be achieved with the WAF?  cant really find any documentation on this subject.

    Have you looked at the API gateway functionality? it has a rate limiting feature
