    Can anyone share the Fortigate Model number for ISFW firewall?

    The advertised ISFW model is the FGT 1500D. However it is purely based on backside throughout requirements, for speed and interface count. If you only need 10G throughput for one segment (data center to core switch for example) you could use a FGT 501E. If you need multiple 10G links, lagged 10G interfaces or 40G links you would need a corresponding FortiGate model. Also depending on your UTM requirements you may be able to get away with just the Threat Protection bundle and not the full UTM, however if it is within budget I would recommend the full UTM bundle.

    You should discuss your network config and anticipated outcome with your local Fortinet SE.

    On a final note you should look at incorporating a FortiSandbox to do some internal network sniffing. Does a great job at inspecting traffic already stored and active within your network shares that could have 'bypassed' the boundary protection.

    It will depend on the throughput. It can start with 500E up tp 3000 series of higher.
